The IoPP North Jersey Chapter proudly serves packaging professionals across New Jersey’s Hudson, Bergen, Morris, Passaic, Warren, Essex, and Sussex counties, All New York City’s buroughs, as well as New York’s Orange, Rockland, Westchester counties, and Long Island.
The North Jersey IoPP Chapter emerged from what was formerly known as the Meadowlands IoPP Chapter. This change was driven by the recognition that the “Meadowlands” name no longer resonated, particularly with newcomers to the region, while the now-defunct New Jersey IoPP Chapter, once based in Central New Jersey, continued to attract the attention of new packaging professionals and students. The original Meadowlands Chapter dates back to around 1960, when it evolved from the New York chapter of the Society of Packaging and Handling Engineers (SPHE).
